Medi Heal N.M.F Aquaring Ampoule Mask [Review]

Hello. I recently had a wee haul at few of the beauty stores in Downtown Gangneung. My skin has been feeling a little under the weather lately. It's really cold here in Gangneung. I'm drying out, and breaking out like mad!
I've been told that the Korean's have one of the best skin care products around. People rave about them all the time.

This is a product I picked up at Olive Young. It cost 1500W so around 60p.
Olive Young is a Korean beauty chain store, they sell a range of beauty and health products. They had a wide range of face masks, from charcoal to sheet masks. I opted for a sheet mask. I hate messy masks, so putting on a sheet is so much easier.

The front and back of the package has information and directions in English, but the rest is in Korean. There's also an ingredients list in English too (above). My skin isn't acne prone, so I'm not worried about ingredients. You should check some of the ingredients first if you do break out in acne, some of them are acne triggers I think!

Here's the sheet on my face. I had to try so hard not to laugh. I must have fixed the mask a few times. The mask is actually a pretty good fit to my face. The sheet itself was soaked in ampoule, but it wasn't dripping. It all stayed on the sheet thankfully. Ampoule is "a super charged serum with concentrated active ingredients".

Directions

After cleansing, even out skin using toner, Take the mask out of its package, unfold and place the sheet on the face. Leave on for 15-20 minutes. After, remove the mask and pat the skin down to absorb the remaining essence.

Outcome

I love this mask! The masks I have used before back home used to sting my face. This one was great, I left it on for the whole 20 minutes. The sheet was still soaked when I took it off. I patted my skin until it was all absorbed. It did feel a tiny bit sticky. I slept, and in the morning, my face was super soft. It was awesome. I've never felt my face that smooth!

I was even confident enough to take a morning selfie!

It's now been 24 hours since I removed the mask and my face is still feeling pretty soft. I did use other products this morning, so I'm not sure if it's to do with the mask or the other products. The product does say I should wear the mask 2-3 times a week for 4 weeks. But I'm not sure whether that's just a marketing thing! Either way, I'm happy with the mask, and would totally recommend you trying it.

I'm going to be reviewing more Korean skin care products in future, so watch this space ^-^!
Living in Korea has many perks, this is one of them!

So, 'till next time,

Kelly

  2. I wish I could try all these different masks! Masks are quite expensive here so I have to be sure that the one I get really works before buying it, heh.

    1. That's such a shame!
I'd be the same if I were back home too. I'm glad I moved to Korea...it's opened my eyes to all the wonderful beauty products out there, and it's so cheap here!!
