The Face Shop Panda Character Mask [Review]

The Face Shop is a Kbeauty brand here in Korea. They also have branches around the world, but not in the UK. I'm surprised, they'd do well back home! Right now there is a sale until the 7th January, so everything is pretty cheap.

I'm big on my sheet masks at the moment. My skin has been feeling under the weather. I bought more sheet masks during my last trip to The Face Shop. It's the best time to get them when the price is a little cheaper. Not by much though.
Originally these are 2500 won (£1.25) for one pack. They've knocked 500 won of the price so now it's 2000 won (£1). Not much difference really.

This is a character mask that The Face Shop offers. It's like any other sheet mask, but instead of a scary white sheet, it's a panda character.

It's a little hard to see, but there is a description in English as well as an ingredients list.
The description: The character mask sheet delivers rich moisture to dry and flaky skin with hyaluronic acid and collagen.

The ingredients are as follows:

Water, humectants (Propanediol, Butylene Glycol, Glycerin), emollients (PEG-40 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, PEG/PPG-17/6 Copolymer), Panthenol, emulsifiers (Betaine), thickeners (Acrylates/C10-30 Alkyl Acrylate Crosspolymer), Potassium Hydroxide, Caprylhydroxamic Acid, Ethylhexylglycerin, Disodium EDTA, 1,2-Hexanediol), Phaseolus Radiatus Seed Extract, Betula Platyphylla Japonica Bark Extract, Rumex Crispus Root Extract), Sodium Hyaluronate and Hydrolyzed Collagen.

This is my sheet mask selfie! It's pretty scary! The panda is not cute at all! The mask was easy to put on, and also fits the face pretty well, no hanging bits! It was well saturated in the solution. It wasn't drippy either.
Directions: wash your face, apply toner, then put on the mask. Remove after 15-20 minutes.

I left mine on for about 45 minutes. It's easy to forget when you're in the middle of doing something. I don't think it harms the effectiveness of the mask though.

Results: The mask was good to start with. My skin was nice and smooth when I removed the mask, however this morning, I broke out in a gazillion spots! My forehead were covered in them!

Some of them are super tiny but there are some pretty huge ones, so I put on Nature Republic's Clear Spot patches. Some of the larger patches have about four spots underneath. >-<! Totally disappointed!

Would I repurchase? No.
It was more expensive than other brands just for a character. It left me with a gazillion spots too.

'till next time,
